How to use this web site
Over the next few screens, we invite you to tell us exactly what you would like
to have included in your funeral arrangements, or the arrangements of a loved
one.
We will present you with a wide range of options (with their costs), covering
everything from the type of ceremony that you have, and transport that you use,
to the type of coffin that you want, and any other personal wishes that you
have.
If there are some things that you don’t have a strong view about, or would be
happy to let your family decide at the time, you can leave these unanswered. No
funds will be set aside within your plan to cover these elements.
We want you to feel that the items that you have included in your plan exactly
meet your needs. You may want to discuss your wishes with your family before
proceeding, and so you can ‘Save’ your personal funeral plan (or even a few
versions) until you have had the chance to talk to them.
If you then decide to go ahead with the purchase of your plan within the
next 40 days, we guarantee that you will be able to buy your plan at the
price that was originally shown.
If you make your decision after more than 40 days, it will be necessary
for the system to check that none of the prices of the items that you have
chosen have altered. But all your plan details will still be saved. And when
you are ready to buy your personal funeral plan, you can either pay
in a lump sum by cheque or by monthly standing order payments
over any period up to 5 years. The choice is yours.
